Minor cuts, scrapes and other wounds can happen at any time but are especially common in spring and summer. To prevent these little mishaps spoiling your weekends in the country or your holidays, follow the advice of Laboratoires URGO to the letter:

There’s a dressing for every wound!
The right dressing for a skin wound means a dressing which stays in place better and, consequently, a wound which heals more quickly.
Before applying the dressing – and whatever the type of wound – it is essential to clean the wound with water first, working from the middle outwards, removing any foreign matter (sand, gravel, pieces of glass) that may be present.
The wound must then be disinfected, using an antiseptic solution.
The wound should then be dressed to prevent any foreign particles entering the body, in particular infectious germs, while at the same time allowing the skin to “breathe”.
