Corns
What is a corn, a soft corn, a callus?
These three types of calluses appear gradually following an accumulation of dead skin at various parts of the foot.
The diagram below will give a better idea of the differences between these three pathologies.
We usually distinguish:
- Corns said to be «incipient», confined to the surface of the skin
- «Entrenched» corns of increasing depth, which can produce more intense pain as they press down on nerve-ends.
Laboratoires Urgo therefore developed 2 dressing technologies designed to remove callosities of this type.
