How to use Urgo Stop Bleeding nose packing
Remove the haemostatic packing from its individual packaging.
- • In nosebleeds: Squeeze the sponge to make it easier to insert into the nostril. Hold your head upright and insert the packing into the nostril.
- For bleeding skin: Disinfect and rinse the wound. Place the packing over the wound and apply light pressure. If necessary, the packing can be cut to size using clean scissors.
- For bleeding in the mouth: Rinse the wound.
Place the packing over the wound and apply light pressure.
- In all cases:
Hold the packing in place for a few minutes until bleeding has stopped completely, then remove packing.
