URGO SUPERFICIAL WOUNDS DRESSING SPRAY

URGO SUPERFICIAL WOUNDS dressing spray is indicated in superficial wounds, scrapes and grazes, for all locations (even particularly awkward ones like elbows and knees). The spray has an immediate antiseptic action on application and, once in place, the transparent film formed:

  • Protects the wound like a second skin
  • Promotes healing
  • Is water and friction-resistant
  • Allows the skin to breathe

Application should be repeated as often as necessary. The dressing dissolves on its own.

Indications

Treatment of superficial wounds, scrapes and grazes, for all locations (even particularly awkward ones like elbows and knees).

 

Instructions for use / Qualities

1. Clean the wound with an alcohol-free antiseptic, such as Urgo Chlorhexidine. Rinse with water or normal saline solution.
2. Dry carefully using a sterile compress.
3. Spray on the dressing, holding the spray 5-10 centimetres from the wound. Leave to dry for 1 minute.

Application should be repeated as often as necessary. The dressing dissolves on its own.

  • Ethyl acetate
  • Ethanol
  • Nitrocellulose
  • Castor oil
  • Wheatgerm oil, naturally rich in vitamin E

Precautions for use

  • Do not use on infected, deep or weeping wounds or on burns.
  • Do not use on the face.
  • Do not inhale.
  • Can cause a slight stinging sensation on application.

Pressurised container. Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Do not spray on a naked flame or any incandescent material. Keep away from sources of ignition. Do not smoke. Keep out of the reach of children. Use only in well ventilated places.
