Laboratoires Urgo, France's leaders in the market for dressings, wound-healing and cold treatments, has just bought out the Spain company Vitafarma. Founded at Hernani in 1952, Vitafarma specialises in the manufacture and marketing of medical devices and OTC medications through pharmacies, with two flagship ranges, Novafix (products to secure and maintain prosthetic dental devices), and Soñodor (medications to treat sleep disturbances).
