Urgo Mouth Ulcers

General characteristics:

A ready-to-use liquid dressing. Urgo Mouth Ulcers is indicated in the treatment of minor mouth ulceration only (1 to 2 mouth ulcers per episode with a diameter < 1 cm) and in minor wounds affecting the mucous membrane inside the mouth.

How does a filmogen work?

Local application to the mouth ulcer or small wound affecting the inside of the mouth. Urgo Mouth Ulcers is a filmogenic gel which forms a thin, flexible film after it is applied to the mucous membrane inside the mouth.

The film formed:

  • Protects the lesion from external factors (food, teeth, dental appliances, etc.),
  • provides fast, durable pain relief,
  • promotes healing.

How to use Urgo Mouth Ulcers Filmogen

  • Wipe one side of the spatula on the edge of the bottle.
  • Apply the remaining amount using the tip of the spatula, covering the whole mouth ulcer or wound.
  • Leave to dry for around ten seconds before closing your mouth. A visible film forms. If you don’t think the film is covering the mouth ulcer or wound properly, repeat application.
  • Apply Urgo Mouth Ulcers as often as necessary, up to 4 times a day and preferably before the main meals, until the ulcer has completely healed (3 to 5 days).
  • As long as the film is still visible, there is no need to repeat application.
  • The hygiene of the filmogenic gel is guaranteed by its composition. It is not necessary, therefore, to clean the spatula after use.

 

Close the bottle carefully after use.
