Skin Cracks filmogen – Hands and Feet
General characteristics.
Ready-to-use liquid dressing suitable for all sizes of skin cracks (feet, hands) and all locations, to soothe and heal.
Regulatory status: Class IIa medical device.
Shelf-life: 3 years.
Composition:
- Wheatgerm oil, naturally rich in vitamin E, promoting healing.
- Nitrocellulose, a polymer which forms the film.
- Castor oil, a plasticising agent.
- Ethanol, a solvent to dissolve the film.
- Ethyl acetate.
How does the filmogen work?
- Local application to the skin crack,
- Optimum product penetration due to its liquid form,
- Formation of a flexible, transparent protective film (semi-occlusive) in contact with the air,
- Keeps the skin crack moist thanks to this film.
The film formed protects the skin crack from external attack, prevents re-opening of the skin crack, relieves pain and promotes healing.
How to use Urgo Skin Cracks filmogen?
Apply and spread the filmogen, using the spatula to fill and evenly coat the skin crack (feet, hands), irrespective of location and surface area.
Leave to dry for a few seconds. Proceed in the same way for other skin cracks. Re-apply 2 to 3 times per day until completely healed.
Close properly after use.
If necessary, the product can be removed: simply re-apply a drop to the film already formed and wipe immediately with a dry compress.
